A combination of CBD and the antibiotic Vancomycin was 100% more effective than the antibiotic on its own, according to research published in the scientific journal Frontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology.

(Vancomycin is used in life-threatening bloodstream infections and bacterial meningitis. Eli Lilly first marketed the drug more than 60 years ago, under the trade name Vancocin.)
